Hey Charlene,
The 8BMB Grillteam of Vienna and the Big Pig Jig still think of you and Bob and the great times we have when you guys came to party with us. The Ga game somehow got in the way of that. If you can feel free to be our special guest at the next Pig Jig in November.
PS. somebody stole my hat with the grey hair that Bob gave me. However, I have a lot of grey of my own now.

This message is for my uncle Bob who I haven't been able to spend anytime with for years. I'm not sure how I came across this, but I wanted everyone to know how much you meant to our family. I guess talking to aunt Charlene today got me thinking about you again. Here I am all choked up trying to put things in the past. I never got to tell you how much you mean to us. Grandma talks about ya all the time. And Dad, well I know he misses you a bunch. You are a great man and you taught me...

My reading on Sept. 5, 2006 as Bob's cremains were committed to the sea at the Pemaquid Point Lighthouse in New Harbor, Maine while aboard the lobster boat "Destini":
Bob-Bob, when I think of you and all you mean to me, you are as clear in my mind and heart as ever. Never a better husband, father, or friend have I encountered. You loved and enjoyed life more than most and shared that with everyone you met.
If only I could hug you, just one more time.

Bob & Munson -- Go Dawgs.....
This photo was taken of Bob on Wednesday night before his heart attack on Saturday, Sept. 3rd. The big bulldog in the photo with him is Munson, who belongs to a friend in Athens. Munson passed away last week. We know that he is being taken care of by one of the biggest Dawg fans ever -- Bob.

I am finally back on line after the trauma that I have recently experienced. As everyone who has viewed this Guest Book is aware, Bob McKernan was a wonderful man. We met on a blind date and married three short months later, 15 years ago this December 22nd. His son, Chad, who became my son, came to live with us 6 months after we were wed. Our home was a happy home, always filled with love, fun, and making memories. As I look back now on all of the memories the three of us made with each...

I had the great pleasure of meeting Bob and Charlene six years ago this week. We just happened to have the good fortune of pulling up next to them at the GA/FL game. It wasn't long before we felt like we were best friends, and we had a great day together in spite of the Gators. When we arrived back in Athens, they had left a message just to check that we got home okay. Ever since then, we talk and e-mail regularly and see one another at games when we can. A Georgia gameday is not...
