Not sure what to say?

I just ran across where Bro. Payne made some notes in an old Sunday School book back in 1980. I recognized his hand writing. He was such a kind and gentle person, the meekest man I have ever met in my life. Miss you my Brother, until we meet again...

YOU WERE SUCH A CHRISTIAN TESTIMONY TO SO MANY PEOPLE.

I'LL MISS YOU UNCLE PAYNE.

UNCLE PAYNE,
YOUR LIFE AND TESTIMONY SPOKE EVERY DAY TO WHAT IT MEANS TO BE A "CHRISTIAN". I'LL NEVER FORGET HEARING YOU PRAY OVER MY MOTHER WHEN SHE WAS SO SICK. SO MUCH FAITH. I'M GOING TO MISS YOU.

Miss Mildred, I used to wait on you and Mr. McLawhorn at the little bank. I now work at First South Bank but I wanted you to know I was thinking of you at this time. I will keep you in my prayers.

May your hearts soon be filled with wonderful memories of joyful times together as you celebrate a life well lived.

Sister Mildred, Bobbie, and all the family,
We were so sorry to learn of Bro. Payne's passing. He has always been a man known for his good character and Christian testimony. We have always had the highest respect for him. We pray God will comfort you during this time of sorrow as only HE can do. However, you have peace in knowing that he is now at rest with his Heavenly Father.
