Robert Eugene McPeek Robert Eugene McPeek, age 58, of Gainesville, Virginia died Thursday, July 8, 2010 at his residence.
Mr. McPeek is preceeded in death by one son Joseph Shannon McPeek.
Survivors include his wife of 14 years, Barbara Jo McPeek; his son Robert Virgil McPeek and soon to be grandson of North Carolina; four sisters, Sylvia Gibson of North Carolina, Margaret Baker of Oregon, Effie Block of Fredericksburg, Va., Bonnie Preston of Tennessee; four brothers, David McPeek of Virginia, Emmett McPeek of Ohio, Ray McPeek of Fredericksburg, Ersel McPeek of Fredericksburg; and two grandchildren, Devin William McPeek and Daniel Brian McPeek.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, July 14, 2010 at Pierce Funeral Home, 9609 Center St., Manassas, VA 20110 where funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Thursday, July 15, 2010. Interment will be private.
In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 in loving memory of Robert Eugene McPeek. Condolences may be sent to www.piercefh.com.
