Not sure what to say?

Thank you for that information, Camby. And for anyone who knew Bob through Saginaw Valley State University and would like to donate to another cause that was close to his heart, the Dr. Robert W. and Mrs. Nancy S. Meadows Memorial Graduate Grant in Education (established in 2006) is still being funded. Thank you ALL so much for your comments and stories on here (as well as on Facebook). They've meant the world to us these past couple of months.

Bob was a favorite teacher and a very special and esteemed educator for the 1967 graduates of Burris Laboratory School, Ball State University, Muncie,Indiana. May he rest in peace. The DAV are accepting a memorial donation in his name. Camby Brann Ferdon.

Dear Elizabeth & Amy: The Alexander family from BSU have many fond and wonderful memories of your Dad. Certainly my father and Bob shared Teachers College and Burris years, the biggest impact was on my late brother, Jim Alexander when he had Bob at Burris. Such an impression was made on Jim that he always talked of "Mr Meadows". Bob's kindness to our family when Jim died, will never be forgotten. Peace to all of you.

Rest in peace my friend.

I feel blessed to have had Bob as a professor at SVSU. There are not many I remember but he was so personable and made you so comfortable expressing your thoughts. He was great at what he did. I learned so much. May the memories of many help with the family's grief.

Sorry to hear about Dr. Meadows. I was a student of his at SVSU . Such a wonderful person full of positive energy. Always went out of his way to help students. He definitely made classes fun.

I am not surprised at the sadness I felt upon hearing of Bobs passing. I met him in my salon immediately after Nancy passed. He came in needing a h/c before he said his last farewell. We became fast friends. So much so that when I left the salon after 30+ years to build a flower shop business with my sister, he followed me right over there and I would cut his hair right amongst the mess of stems and buckets of water. Of course he won over the hearts of everyone that worked for us and they all...
