I remember the first time I met Bob and Gustavo at 2500 Market Street, during a neighborhood meeting. Gustavo and Bob became my heroes that day, when Gustavo made a wonderful speech about our neighborhood rights, and Bob nearly attacked Leslie Katz for trying to interrupt Gustavo.
Bob was a wonderful man and has moved on to the next great adventure, where he will eventually greet us all with his crushing handshake.

I only met Bob briefly but his warmth and generosity were readily apparent. From discussions with Gustavo, I felt like I knew him better than I did. His loss will be felt by many. My thoughts are with them at this time.

We were blessed to have Bob in our family- he was so thoughtful and caring. Most important he always found the time to engage in a conversation about how we were doing and actully listened to what we had to say. We will sincerely miss this fine gentleman who loved us as much as we loved him.

In our tradition people live eternally in the memories of those who loved them. Bob was a cherished friend and we will always remember him as the gentle, generous and loving person he was.

We will miss Bob. If someone asked me to describe Bob, I would use the words, courtly gentleman. He surely would have been a worthy addition to any palace court, and he was a gentle man.

Bob was a kind, gentle soul who will always be in our hearts. I also remember his John Wayne impersonation very well, and his wonderful stories. Remember the one about his meeting Tyrone Power during the war?
