He is survived by his parents, Robert and Amy Mercurio; his paternal grandparents, Robert and Susan Mercurio; his maternal grandparents, William and Ann Sutherland; his paternal great-grandparents, Ronald and Mary Swiatek; his maternal great-grandmother, Frances Richardson; his aunts and uncles, Michelle and Kevin Woodcox, and Reid and Moira Sutherland; and many other family members who love and miss him. A memorial service for friends and family will be held 7 p.m. Friday at Bliley's - Central, 3801 Augusta Ave. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Robert James Mercurio's memory to First Candle Organization at www.firstcandle.org.
