Not sure what to say?

I attended Arkansas A&M with Bob 1949-51 and went to Idaho with him the Summer of 1950 to do summer work with the USFS. We left by train from Mena, Arkansas that summer. I later graduatied from louisiana Tech in Ruston upon return from the Army and visited Bob on occasion when he was in Homer. Our paths crossed through the years at various Forestry meetings, I always admired his friendly and outgoing persona - a grin so wide it invited one in return! I shall miss him, God bless his family !

I first got to know Bob when I moved to College Station in 1992 with the USDA Agricultural Research Service. He was an excellent coopertor and became a good friend. I was so saddened to hear of his death. His memory will live in my heart forever.

Im sorry to hear about your father. I met your parents from my grandfather (Dr. James Gladney)in Homer, LA. I have enjoyed taking care of their vehicles here in College Station since '95. Both of your parents were always so kind to my family and me. You and your family will be in my prayers.

My thoughts and prayers are with you in your time of grief. May your memories bring you comfort.

Even though I moved away from Texas, I thought of Bob and Bobbie often. I felt fortunate to come to know them through our church family. I worked on committees with Bob and found him to be one of the kindest people in our community. I will be thinking of the Merrifield family and your loss.

My thoughts are with the Merrifield family.
I met Bob the first day of my freshman year at Texas A&M, when he was the Dept. Head of the Forest Science Department. It was a pleasure to see him daily in the "building".
I have always thought of him a wonderful, gentle man.

May God help you through your grief. Mike and I will miss Bob terribly. We speak of him often and how honored we are to have known him and to have had him as a friend. He was a truly nice person.

To Bob's Family,

It has been our pleasure to have known both Bob & Bobbie for many years with his work with Southern Directors. We want all of you to know that you continue to be in our thoughts and prayers. They are together again and we are happy for them but grieve with you as family.
