Not sure what to say?

Dear Mrs. Meserve & the Meserve Boys, I'm just finding this guest book today (6/5) but want you to know that Elise, my boys and myself offer our deepest sympathies. Also i'd like to say that Mr. Meserve made this world a much better place and I know that I'm a better person because of him. I'm truly sad to hear this news and hope that the rest of the Meserve family is doing well...

"Aunt Florence" and family.
I was so sorry to here about "Uncle Bob" as I called him. Of course, daddy couldn't tell me he was sick because of his association with Maine General as a chaplin. I was out of town and called home and daddy told me, I was in total shock. My love for the two of you goes back many years seeing "Uncle Bob" with Uncle Herbie time and time again. Please accept my deepest sympathy and know that my prayers are with you. Hugs and kisses "Aunt Florence"
Laurie

Paul and family,

I'm so sorry to hear about your Dad's passing. I remember him best from Little League through the high school years. Always a warm smile, he had a great presence about him. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

By way of introduction, I was aquainted with "Bob" while working at Wallace's Radio, TV, and Music in Skowhegan. Then, when I became a volunteer at Thayer, we shared lots of laughs as he came by to chat with us. What a remarkable soul he is.
Just a line from I Thess. 4:17, "We who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air." Paul wrote that to Christians so we would not grieve like people who have no hope. (When we asunder part,...

To Paul and your family,

It's Tues. nite and I'm just now reading about your dad. I'm so very sorry that Tim and I didn't know earlier or we would have come up. You obviously made your dad very proud, Paul, all of you boys. Take care.

I have everlasting memories of 'Dad' with my childhood years with the family.
I will always remember how he treated everybody as his own.
I will always have respect to him and all his family

Dear Mrs. Meserve & Family,

I have such happy memories being at your Smiley Avenue home. It is painful to think that Mr. Meserve is no longer there with you. He was such the jester and I can't imagine the hole that he will leave behind.

Please accept my condolence,
Lucie

Our thoughts and prayers are with you in your time of grief. Bob was a wonderful man who will be remembered fondly, may these memories bring you comfort.

The Meserve Family,

Even though I never had an opportunity to meet your husband/father, my friendship with Jim and the accolades that were directed towards him gave me a wonderful sense of who he was and what he stood for.

My sympathies towards your family during these somber moments.
