Seeing this post immediately brought back fond memories of my high school days with my good friend, as we called him then, Bobby Metro. He was so earnest and genuine and he always seemed to have a smile for you even on a bad day. I always broke into a smile when I saw Bobby. Bobby was very disciplined and very dedicated to his sports interests whether it was basketball, football or golf. I remember him telling me that he would dream about golf and would sometimes wake up in the middle of the...

Bob and I were roommates at Ohio University. He took me out to play my first hole of golf at 1230AM on the course by our dorm. Sadley I lost track of Bob after Ohio U. He was a great guy and my sincere condolences to all his family.

I was deeply saddened to learn today of Bob's passing. We attended Cathedral Latin and I will always remember Bob as
someone with a great sense of humor but also one who was serious about his studies as well as sports. His passion for golf
and his devotion to Janet were unmistakable and inspiring. I
always considered Bob to be a good friend even though our
lives took us in different directions. My thoughts and prayers
for you, Janet and your wonderful family. Bill...

Dear Janet and family.
We have wonderful memories of the many inviationals and golf games Gary and Bobby played and won. We smile at all the stories Bobby shared with Gary over the years. He was a fantastic golf player and a friend for many years. You are all in our hearts.

Dear Metro Family,
My deepest condolences on the passing of Bob. I have have known Bob for 20 years of golf at Westwood CC. He was one of my favorite guys and the greatest story teller I've ever heard. We will miss him dearly but will never let go of our fond memories. God Bless you Bobby.

May God bless the family. I have fond memories of our days at Cathedral Latin and several encounters with his business over the years. I still have my bag tag from his invite for me to play at Lakewood CC.
Always the gentleman when we met.

God Bless
