Robert Metzgar, 74, of Palm Harbor, Florida passed away on August 25, 2017 at Suncoast Hospice, Woodside - Pinellas Park after a lengthy illness. Bob was surrounded by his loving family. Bob was born in Sommerset, Pennsylvania and spent most of his life with his loving family and friends in Sheridan, New York. He established and operated a successful business "King Machine" for over 20 years. Bob was a member of the local steam fitters union 395 and a member of the Sheridan Fire Dept. His hobby was his passion "Golf". Bob and his wife Nancy moved to Palm Harbor, Florida in 2005 to be with their children, Jeff & Jim. Bob was employed as a Shop manager at BCH Mechanical, Largo, Florida until his retirement. Bob is survived by his loving wife Nancy, Two sons, Jeffrey (Julie Metzgar) of Palm Harbor, FL., and James Metzgar of Tampa, FL. Brothers; Scott (MaryAnn) Metzgar, and Gary (Janet) Metzgar, Nieces; Tracy Gilbert and Jenna Jenny. Also his loving campanion and best friend "Ebby". A private service was held for the family in Palm Harbor. In lieu of flowers, a donation in "Bob's" honor made be made to Suncoast Hospice - Woodside, Pinellas Park. Rest in peace Bob - Love your family and friends

My prayers and condolences go to Nancy and the entire family. I remember the good times that were had at TCCC and at the family poolside in Sheridan. Bob will be missed. Take care of yourself,Nancy.
