Bob was an incredible light in this world. I worked with him at the NKF Kids Camp for several years. He made an incredible difference in the lives of our patients who were able to attend camp. His altruistic and generous spirit was infectious. We are all better for having known him.

Bob.... was a sweet neighbor who, always, smiled that "honest" smile. He was so friendly and easy to talk with. He was out in the yard often when we would go by and we'll miss his happy hello. May his family & friends smile, too, when they think of him!

I had the good fortune to partner with Bob who always took the extra step to help one of our patients at a time of urgent need. He gave so generously of his time as he would come across town to present at one of my patient support groups and offer to them such wisdom, insight and encouragement to live a full life. His wonderful sense of humor and quiet and humble way will always be remembered. He was an incredible inspiration to me and a true gift to our world.

I never met Bob in person, but we would frequently talk on the phone regarding patient applications for the emergency fund program. Even from those small interactions I could tell Bob was a bright light and he was passionate about helping others and he was patient with me as a new social worker. Bob would always sign his mail or faxes to me with a smiley face - that small act always brightened my day. May...
