Not sure what to say?

Gina and I are so sorry for your loss. Our relationship with Bob began with his overseeing some of our financial issues. It wasn't long before he became a trusted friend and advisor. He was such a great help in setting up accounts for the grandchildren. Bob could always be counted on to be frank and clear thinking. He remained upbeat despite the realities of his health issues. We will miss him on many levels and pray that he is at peace.

Bob Meyer was the most pivotal person in my career. He walked into the mortgage department one day during my management trainee six month stint and tossed a bond prospectus at me and said we were going to an Investment Society meeting that evening. That was the spark that ignited my passion for the world of investments. We worked together on the ME Bank bond portfolio, entering issues into what would look today like an antiquated evaluation system. He trusted me to run the bank's cash...

Dear Dottie,Stewart and David,
Chris called us last week while we were away to let us know of your loss. We were so very sad to hear that Bob had passed on to another life. You all must be heartbroken.
After Chris' call we sat for a long time recalling our many memories of Bob. St. Gregory's brought so many events that we all enjoyed. Bob was an integral part of those dinners, games, and various celebrations. His keen interest in all of our kids are memories that linger with them...

Dear Dottie and family:
I just learned of Bob's passing, and I'm sorry at the loss of such a truly nice man. Everytime I saw Bob, I felt that I wanted to spend more time with both of you, and somehow it never happened. He was a very special person and it was always evident no matter how brief the encounter. My warmest wishes to you and your sons as you make your way through this loss.

Dear Meyer Family. Our thoughts and prayers are with you today. My wife (Meagan) and I recently met Bob while he was visiting his marketing superstar son (Stewart) in Seattle. He was so endearing and "real" - both Meagan and I felt a great warmth from him. It's inspiring that someone can leave such a strong and positive impression in such a short period of time. Take care of each other. Jamie and Meagan

Bob is a kind and gentle soul. He is the kind of soul, in whom his family and friends can take great pride. The body dies, but the soul is eternal. I am honored to call Bob my friend.

Your family will be in our prayers.

Dear Dottielein,

My first memory of meeting Bob was when you brought him to Utica for a visit "pre-engagement". Yes, he was quite witty & fun, but what I noticed most was how much he adored his "Dots". That was what won my heart about him & as we all know he continued that "focused love" throughout his life.

You were a great wife. When you presented him with Stewart and then David...his "cup runneth over". He will be missed. He was a good man and had a good life here. I...
