Not sure what to say?

Myrle,

We were so sorry to hear about Bob's passing. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. May the wonderful memories you shared throughout your time together, sustain you in the coming days.

Bob,
I just wanted to let you know how sorry I was to hear about your father. I spent the day at the sheriff's department one time for school and your father was really nice to me. He spent most of the time talking about you and Friction. I wish I could say something that would take away your pain. My God Bless you and your family in your time of need. Miss talking to you.

To the Michel Family,
I am sorry to hear of your loss. Bob was very nice and gentle man. I knew Bob though be a constable for the Mill Village area for years. I am sure he will be missed by all who knew him and work with him. I will keep your family in my thoughts and prayers.

Having a father in law enforcment meant interrupted meals, cancelled vacations and sometimeslong nights, but the love and joy they brought to their families, friends and community was remarkable. Sheriff Michel was a special man, as are any who decide to spend their lives in service of their community. He will be missed.

Bobby,Dawn and family,
My deepest sympathy. My prayers and thoughts are with you all. Jeanie

Myrle, Bobby, Jen, and family. So sorry to hear of the Sheriff's passing. Growing up in that neighborhood and being close to your family was an awesome experience that I recall frequently. When I wasn't at home I could usually be found at the Michel household at some point during the day. I will always remember Bob as a strong, strict, but understanding and supportive man and one of the main reasons I entered law enforcement in the first place. He was a great friend to my family as I was...

Dear Michel family members:

I am Jim Thompson. Our family (Abel and Jemima Thompson) helped found Union City in 1801, so Bob was always especially interesting to me as a journalist in Erie. I covered the courthouse for several years as an Erie Daily Times repoter and the Times-News political writer. I know these things for sure: Bob was honest. Bob was a great friend to his honest friends. Bob was very smart. Bob never asked for a political payback for any minor favor given....
