Not sure what to say?

Coach Middleton lived right down the street from us in Kenton, Ohio. His lovely wife wrote my twin sister & I a recommendation for KKG at Ohio State. They were wonderful neighbors !! Pat Hanley Avery

Mr Middleton was a passionate man, I have just now learned of his passing, he was my HS football coach, an intimidating figure but with a smile the size of the Grand Canyon. He always called me Jimmy in the field. The Day I graduated he shook my hand and called me James. I had Grown up, Thanks Coach for your teachings and more so, your friendship.

So very sorry to hear of Mr. Middleton's passing. He was such a generous & caring man.

On behalf of the KHS Class of 1965 (Kenton, OH), our sincere sympathy to Charlene and family of Mr. Middleton. Our class was the beginning of Bob's teaching and coaching career and we are sadden to hear the news of his passsing.

I played football for Coach Middleton in 1976-77.I just found out from one of my brothers today that he passed and am deeply saddened. He was not only a great coach/teacher but also a great person off the field. To this day, things I have learned from coach I have passed on to my son and 2 daughters. Mrs. Middleton, my prayers are with you.

In 2002 Mr. Middleton handed over about four dozen of his ties to me upon his retirement. We all knew him for his warm pesonality and those memorable ties. What a great man. I have since passed several of those ties on to Goodwill, but I will make sure to keep a few just to remind me of his generosity. Bob Middleton - Fenton's best mentor.

In our thoughts,
Nick Gregory (colleague and friend)

God's blessing and comfort to your family at this difficult time. I often read the obituary section and your husband and father's kind face caught my attention. Look to our Father who will comfort and sustain you.

Touched by Kindness

Mr. Middleton was a great teacher! I had him right before he retired. Even late in his career he was a fantastic educator. I remember when I was lost as a freshman at FHS on my first day he kindly showed me where to go. Mr. Middleton always had great stories that I still remember fondly. He will be missed.

We are so sorry to hear of Bob's passing.
He was always a kind gentleman that we enjoyed seeing and talking with. Your family is in our prayers.
