Robert Midgley

I substitute for Sonoma Valley Schools and just learned of Bob's death... He was always helpful to me and recognized when "the Sub" needed a hand. His way with students was a perfect blend of toughness and caring. He was always there to foster inclusion and team spirit when needed. It seems so wrong to be referring to him in the past tense. My sorrow to his family, friends and students.

I had the privilege of coaching Bobby in Babe Ruth Baseball. He was a very devoted kid & player. I have been I touch with him somewhat & very proud that he still called

RIP. His death is a loss to the whole community. Bob hired me to coach the SVHS Boys Tennis Team. I grateful for his guidance and steady hand. He will be missed.

I did not have Mr. Midgely during my high school years. During my freshman year, I never had a group of friends since I had not found my click yet.
