Not sure what to say?

Hard times for family. Know that he helped many many kids in school. He was a friend to so many of us. We will all hold on to our many memories. May God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow. Sincerely Ninajo

So sorry to read the paper and see that Bob has passed away. Always so nice seeing and talking to him while he was digging for golf balls in the pond at White Lake. Saw him not long ago at Meijer's and we had a nice visit. Remember all the good memories and my thoughts and prayers are with all of you.

Dear Mikkelson family, My sincere condolences to you. I had the pleasure of having your Dad as one of my 7th grade teachers back in the early 60's. Certain teachers make such a huge impact on your life and your Dad was one of two who really made a difference in my life. He will be missed. Pam Reynolds Garabedian, Class of 68 WHS

Take comfort in knowing that now you have a special guardian angel to watch over you.

David and Kirk so sorry about your father. He really was the best counselor and Driver's ED teacher:) He will be greatly missed. Tracy (Greiner) Tanner

Our thoughts & prayers are with you. Whatever brings you peace, that is what is wished for you at this difficult time.

Thoughts and prayers to you all - keep the memories close. I have great memories from high school being his aide for years. RIP!

Our deepest sympathies at this most difficult time....

So very sorry to hear of your loss. Mr. Mikkelson was an amazing counselor whose words will forever stay with me.
