Not sure what to say?

I just became aware of Bob's passing. I have been trying to contact him for several months and thought it strange that there was no contact left. I have been teaching percussion at Kean University for 10 years, and over that time Bob and I developed an enjoyable friendship. We could talk about drums for hours and I know he was really enjoying the teaching he was doing. I'm very distraught over his passing and would like to speak to any family that would care to contact me.

Sadly, I just learned of Bob's passing. He was "Mr. Bob" to my kids and started my son on drums and my daughter on the piano almost ten years ago. He was a wonderful, kind and cheerful man, always accepting of the kids and a pleasure to work with. I know he loved what he did, and he will be missed greatly by my entire family.

I have just learned of Bob's passing. Bob and I got together several times over the years at my house talking about drums, cymbals and music. He was a very wonderful human being and musician. I was shocked to hear of his passing. I offer my deepest sympathy to his family and other friends. I will miss his friendship.

I'm glad Bobby spent the last years of his life teaching because he always cared about the next generation of musicians. Many nights we talked on the phone and he always talked proudly about the kids at the Chatham School. On and off the stage Bobby always had a great sense of humor. In the 70s Bobby came up with the idea of putting a big band together. Neither one of us knew the first thing about arranging but we gave it a shot.
