Not sure what to say?

What a wonderful man to have known. I remember him most for his relaxed approach to his patients and his thorough explanation of each procedure. He carried himself with dignity and humor. In procedures he would be talking about things that he thought the patients would be interested in to distract them and throw in a joke or two just to lighten the mood. In my 42 years of ICU/PACU experience I don't believe I met a kinder, funnier or better cardio-thoracic surgeon. Rest In Peace, you...

May the Angels and Saints lead Bob's soul to Heaven!

I remember Bob Miley as a Fenwick classmate and as a top-flight student who was sure to go on to a successful life. Rest in the peace of the Lord, friend....

Bob and I were classmates at Fenwick and Notre Dame. To this day, he remains one of the brightest and most pleasant of my acquaintances.

Such a Wonderful and kind hearted CV surgeon!
I had the pleasure to work with him on occasion at All Saints Hospital. My fondest memories were when you asked him which Radio station he wanted to listen to? It was always K-OFF. May you Rest In Peace, Dr Miley!

I worked with Dr Miley at All Saints as well as in their office. I loved his smile and wonderful personality. His bedside manner was so refreshing and much appreciated by his patients. He will truly be missed.

I met Bob when I moved to Forth Worth in seventies along with Dr. Allen Graham and Dr. Karamath Choudry. . Our relationship was professional and I enjoyed working with them. Bob was more intense of the three Surgeons and always working to deliver the best service for his patients. He was well liked by his colleagues and medical staff. If there was a task to be done you saw him at the front of the line.I hope his memories bring the comfort to his family and friends.

I worked with Dr Miley as his surgical first assistant for over 15 years. He taught me most of what I know and use about CV surgery. If you ran into the unexpected in surgery, he was the one you wanted to be with. He could think fast in the situation and came up with many innovative ideas that people still use today. Always lots of stories and jokes. I remember when he got his red M6 BMW; he let me drive it the first day he brought it to the hospital.
