Not sure what to say?

Dr. Milkey was my landlord for about 10 years when I was living in Granby. He was always such a nice guy, very down to earth. He never exactly seemed like a landlord type, he was always more interest in animals. He loved his horses and he loved breeding them. God bless you Dr. Milkey, I hope there are animals up in heaven for you to take care of. Diane Phillips

A great friend of my folks and one of my all time favorite Granby people. RIP.

Thank you Dr Milkey for your amazing contribution to the Granby community through veterinary, farm, and so many other ways. Now your page is in the annals of Granby history. Thanks especially for the time you bailed out of bed at midnight on an absolutely bone-chilling February night, and saving my colicky horse's life. My condolences to all the family and prayers for God's comfort.

James...Thank you for informing me of your father's passing Dr Milkey offered me my first opportunity to work as a veterinarian in Connecticut, which I share with a number of other vets still engaged today. We spent many hours in his office, after hours, discussing all facets of life. I will always remember those times...He called me Sergio, a private reference to a presupposed "godfather heritage"...Rest in peace.

So sorry to read of the passing of "Dr. Milkey" - we go way back to when the practice was Milkey, Davis, Miller and Warner. We were breeders of Airedale and Lakeland Terriers and he was wonderful with our dogs back in the 70's. We are now living in Venice, FL which is where I saw the obituary today. We had no idea he was so close. Rest in Peace Dr. Milkey.

My deepest condolences for your loss may the grace of God bring comfort and peace to your family.the promise that God set before us all give us hope Act 24:15.

John,

My condolences to you and your family on the passing of your dad. It's been too many years since you and I talked....maybe grammar school. I remember your dad taking care of our dog's ears and performing surgery on them at no cost to my family. The ear problem was something out of the ordinary and it was an experimental procedure that he was trying. The dog lived well into his teens. Your dad was a great man.

Dr. Milkey was our vet for many years. He was a very kind man and a great human being. May he rest in peace.

Dear John and family,
My family are very sad to hear about the loss of your dad.
He is at peace now and no longer suffering.
