Not sure what to say?

I met Bob in 1985 when I was visiting the Esso affiliate in Thailand for a few days. If my memory serves me, Bob was negotiating a gas contract. He had a car and driver so we would venture out to the hawker stands for lunch. I remember Bob warning me that the sticky rice could pull the fillings out of my teeth. He would regale me with stories about Libya and the good old days at Esso. I still have fond memories of the lunches which happened over 30 years ago.

He was a generous...

Dad, I am home again at the Jocko. Your presence is strong here - the river, the night stars, the land rovers and tractor, your home and much more, all remind me vividly of your long love affair with Montana. Thank you for nearly thirty years of extended summers; an unanticipated opportunity to know my father as a vital, inquisitive adult.

Aunt Carol and family, it was a pleasure to meet Uncle Bobby. His life adventures were amazing and his love for his family very evident. You are all in my thoughts and prayers. Hope to see you soon. Love, Melissa Baker (Bohn)

You know you are a loved person when not only do your grandchildren but your great grandchildren take on your name.
Much Love,
River Irving and Dax Robert Solomon

Oh Uncle Bobby, I will miss you. I loved listening to your stories and recollections. The adventures you had and the things you did were always so fabulous. My deepest love and prayers go out to Aunt Carol and to my cousins as well. With sadness at this loss, but joy in the hope of Heaven.

Love, Charlot

Good bye Uncle Bobby.
I will miss you and your larger than life personality. I will always remember you and I taking the cat to the Vet in Bangkok, getting lost in Pompeii and looking for bison on the way to get rid of the trash from the Jocko.
I will miss you the most when I think about being somewhere you have lived and knowing I'll never hear about how things were when you were there.
Thank you for your stories, sense of humor and making me feel like someone special.

Daddy, you are always in our hearts.....always.
I love you and miss you,
xoxoRobin

My condolences to members of Bob's family on his passing. Bob, who held the Amateur Radio callsign of KB2KKR, had been an active member of our New Providence Amateur Radio Club for a while. We always enjoyed his company at our club meetings. He told us about his cabin in Montana, where he really enjoyed spending his summers, from what he told us. A quiet, generous man, always willing to help out where needed. Our club members who remember Bob are saddened by his passing. May He Rest In Peace...
