I am very sorry to hear of Bob's passing. I do not remember actually meeting Bob, since I was very young at the time, but he and my Dad played ball together at Central, and were in the Air Force at the same time. Dad always spoke very, very highly of him. Hopefully they are up there throwing a ball around right now. Godspeed Mr. Mallard.
