51 years later and still sober, I´m eternally grateful to his guidance that I received as a lost young man in the experimental Adolescent Development Program. May his legacy remain a blessing, from generation to generation. Stuart

Five years later, he is still missed.

I recently learned , very sadly of Robert's passing. He was a wonderful doctor and a true healer. He made a practice of being accessible - a rarity these days. It was often astonishing , to me how Robert's insights and perceptions of any given situation were always spot on. I had many "aha!" moments in his office. A session with Robert was more than just a patient/doctor transaction. It was thought-provoking, entertaining and instructive- you always came away knowing a little bit more...

Dr Millman was truly a wonderful, funny and caring human being and a fantastic doctor.. I miss him greatly.

Over 30 years ago, I had the opportunity to work with Robert Millman as one of the early trainees in his Addiction Fellowship program. He was a wonderful mentor who helped shape my professional career. He was truly gifted in so many ways and was a pioneer in his field.
