Dearest Cathy and Family; I am BobbiePettits daughter Melissa Blyskal now Melissa Turner. Mom called me Thursday to let us know about Robert. I wish I knew him and I pray for you and your family. Come to find out Robert was in school with his cousin (4th cousin) and lives a few blocks away and we never knew. With my sisters death and recently my husbands death I know there are no words to help you heal but Time alone. Please reach out to family and friends, you will need them. God bless...

I wasn't very close to Rob but he was fun to have in class. He always knew how to make everyone laugh. My sincerest condolences go out to his family. Rest In Peace Rob.

I am so sorry for your loss...my daughter was in one of Rob's classes...she will miss him as will the other kids at PAHS...i will keep your family in my prayers... i am sure Rob is at peace and will be with you all always...God bless you all.

Rob,
We were not "best friends" we were not even close friends really. I only spent time with you two or three times. But those times I did spend with you were truly amazing. From the one night in Pen Argyl late at night, having some summer fun. Dropping chains with Matt just to have some good old fun! And than you sticking up for one of your best friends, because some dude hurt her. You had the biggest heart and the sense of adventure. You were one true amazing guy and we were all lucky...

Cathy and family,
My very deepest sympathies to you and your family, at this very tragic time. Our little community has been rocked this past couple of weeks, by two very untimely deaths, and as a mom, I have felt both very deeply. Imagine my surprise when I read about Robert, and see that his mother is someone that grew up and lived two doors away from me on Northampton St, way back when. It is indeed a very small world, and we are truly all connected. Sending prayers..Lisa Mabus Mutton
