Dear Mitchell Family:

I apologize for my belatedness, but I only learned of Capt. Mitchell's passing when I happened to end up behind the Funeral Procession and called the Sheriff's Office to inquire because there were so many S.O. vehicles noticeable. Captain Mitchell was my Captain for many of the years I worked at the Sheriff's Office, both on the Administration and Detention Side, from 1995 to 2006. To the Mitchell Family,

Our condolences to your family during this difficult time. We will keep you in our thoughts and prayers.

With sympathy,
Shelly and Larry Klein

My condolences to the family and to those at Yuma County who had the pleasure of working with Capatain Mitchell. I was a Deputy Sheriff with Yuma County in 1986/1987 and Captain Mitchell was a man I always respected. Quick witted and with a great sense of humor he made my introduction to law enforcement an enjoyable experience. I always envied his position as the Yuma County pilot. I know he will be missed by all.

Det. Sgt Jim Coffey
Coconino County Sheriff's Office

Dios te bendiga, amigo. Bobby was a positive influence on me, a steady support base and a great back-up when I was a "Baby" YCSO Deputy from 1983 to 1986. His veteran stewardship positively influenced my law enforcement career, even into my current federal position. He was the calm partner to ride the range with.

Bobby,
You will be missed by all of us. When You and I worked Detention together, you kept a calminess in a thankless job. You have earned your wings. Our Thoughts and prayers go out to Lori and the kids.

Robyn, Ronnie and family, our prayers and thoughts go out to you in this difficult time. May you all find peace and love in the memories you cherish. God Bless you all, Jill Fitzsimmons-Magaddino
