Robert Henry Mitchell Sr.

Mr. Henry was a fine example of a true southern gentleman. We all loved Mr. Henry. He was our mail carrier for many years. We have many fine memories of him. He will surely be missed.

May peace be with you and yours. Mr. Mitchell was a fine man who I am very glad I had the pleasure of knowing.

My grandfather used to take us to Mr.Henry's house to ride horses.I always thought we was a real old fashioned cowboy and loved watching him ride and work with his favorite horse Sultan.

Mr. Henry was a fine friend. He and I became friends through our love and passion for animals. I was impressed by his kindness and genuine character. I am sorry that I won't be there to celebrate his life. He was a true gentleman. My deepest sympathy to his family.

The Jacqueline Rose(Mitchell)Forman family, daughter of Jack Mitchell, send our prayers. My mother tells me of the wonderful memories she has of times spent with Uncle Henry, he was always so kind to her during her childhood years when she visited Mama Mitchell and Papa Mitchell.

Henry was a wonderful caring person. When my first husband was in Viet Nam, Henry would bring his letters to me as soon as he got them, instead of waiting until the mail ran the next day. I imagine he did this for all his route with family members serving. He & J.P. will always be a favorite memory of mine.
