Not sure what to say?

Wow, what a service record! Bet it made our mom proud!! We didn't get to spend much time together as adults because of your service to our country but did get to see the family togetherness you and Carole created with the kids during the times you weren't under water. Carole, Pam and I are sad to hear that Bob has passed. He was our first "Skipper" on the Honolulu and showed us how to work hard and have fun at the same time! We´re thinking of you and Bob. Dave and Pam Kern

My condolences Mrs Mitchell to you and yours. It was an honor to have served under his command on the two boats. His leadership and mentorship inspired so many of us with successful naval and civilian carreers. We're all better persons thanks to him.

Carole, we were very sorry to hear about Bob´s passing. Perhaps more so that Robert and Mary preceded him. You both were wonderful to both of us and we cherish our time with you and the memory. Our thoughts and prayers are with you. Rich and Theresa

Dear Carole, family and friends of Bob, On behalf of the United States Submarine Veterans, we offer our sincere condolences at Bob´s passing. Please know that you are in our thoughts and prayers.
