Robert "Bruce" Moffett
Fenton, Michigan - Robert "Bruce" Moffett, 77, of Fenton, Michigan formerly of Flint, Michigan, passed away on January 24, 2024. He was born on June 14, 1946, in Flint, Michigan, to the late Robert S. Moffett and Helen M. (Romanowski) Moffett.
Bruce was a lifelong prankster and troublemaker, known for his mischievous spirit. He lived life, traveling and laughing at every opportunity, and pursuing his passions.
Bruce is survived by his three children, Brian Moffett, Jennifer Moffett, and Eric Moffett, his brother Jeffrey Moffett and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Gloria (Canter) Moffett, his sister Barbara (Moffett) Boyles, as well as his parents.
Bruce proudly served in the United States Air Force and graduated from Central Michigan University.
Professionally, Bruce was the Co-Owner of Moffett Food Service, where he made significant contributions to the industry.
Bruce was a member of St. Matthews Roman Catholic Church, where he served as an Usher. His faith played an important role in his life.
In his free time, Bruce enjoyed various hobbies. He was a 4th degree member of the Knights of Columbus Assembly 510 in Burton. Bruce was also an avid antique car enthusiast, particularly fond of his 1913 and 1928 Buicks. He was a member of the Flint Parkinson's Support Group and found joy in photography, traveling, martial arts, family vacations, boating, camping, hiking, biking, and chess.
Services for Bruce will be held on Tuesday, January 30, 2024, at St. Matthews Roman Catholic Church in Flint. Visitation will begin at 10:00 AM until 10:30 AM, followed by a Funeral Service. A lunch will be held after the service. Burial will take place at 2:30 PM at Sunset Hills, located at 4413 Flushing Rd in Flint.
