I met Bob when he volunteered at the maritime Museum. I also knew Marilyn from her work at the Toberman House. Theirs was a romance that would make a lovely book. How wonderul to find romance at 70. I am happy they had a great 18 years together. It is a happy thought to think that they left for Heaven together. Thoughts and prayers are with your family. I too had Mr Mohle as a teacher in the 70's and remember his stories of the war, it was fun to be in his class, he was a very good teacher

Dear Robert and Charles (Chip)
You probably don't remember me, but my father and your father were best friends from a very early age. My father was Harold Simpson. My brother Bob and I grew up with your Grandparents on Meyler Street. I think one of you may still live in the house with the wonderful basement. I spent many hours with your grandfather exploring and listenting to his stories.
Your dad and my dad made their first trip to Catalina when they were 13 years...
