I met Dr. Mollerus at the Naval Hospital, Bremerton, WA. I was stationed there from 1970 yo 1974. He, at the time, was a Lieutenant Commander, Medical Corp, USN. When he came onto the surgery floor/ward to check on his patients he was a saint. His bedside manner and his dedication to his patience was phenomenal. My family is very sorry to hear of Dr. Mollerus's passing. Twenty three years ago my daughter had a car accident and Dr. Mollerus was on duty when she came into the hospital. He was totally amazing in every way as a doctor, as our stress was extreme with the accident.He sewed her back up and calmed her and us, as her parents, he was just unbelievable. His 'bedside' manner was unbelievable comforting. We saw him several times as he removed glass from her face and arms on several...

Sorry to hear about dr. Mollerus. great mentor in mt life. While I was in the Navy with him he encourage me to go to nursing school and become an O.R. nurse. Enjoyed many lunches with Bob at VMH "Club Cloaca" as he called it. What a character. He will be missed.
