I think it must be over 50 years ago I was heading to third beach and came across Bob and Billy hand digging the foundation for M&M HOUSE NUMBER ONE on Shorewood near beach three. The Monahan boys, or just "the Boys" soon became a social center as they extoled the beauty of cement block construction to anyone who stopped to see. Rest peacefully Mr.Monahan!! I remember the days I first started my job as a nurse at the Boston VA hospital,the three Monahan Brothers were some of the first people I met here,and it was always a pleasure!! Through the years,I had the occasion to see Robert at the hospital and he always had a hug and a smile..Truly a special person and someone who will not be forgotten.
