Not sure what to say?

I'm so fortunate to have known Brian during the last few years of his life. He was a tough and endearing customer who always taught me something about life each time he walked into my shop. I miss his inspiring presence and shall think of him often, especially every time I make shrimp and grits.
My warmest thoughts go out to his lovely family and many friends who will miss him so much.

If you're fortunate in this life you have loving parents who teach you life's lessons. I believe that Brian and Mary Jane's children were so blessed. I too feel I was given that blessing. However, you sometimes need a "go to" person to express, discuss, debate, or share ideas with. I was very lucky to have my Uncle Brian to always go to with such issues. You go through this life and collect very few true friends, I am glad to say besides being my Uncle he was one of those true friends. I...

A truly beautiful and kind person. I always enjoyed our conversations. He will not be forgotten

June 19, 2009

We were sorry to hear of Brian's passing. We will always have fond memories of the winters spent with him and Mary Jane (members of our St. Bart,s Family) at Auberge, Petite Anse. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family.

I was privileged to know Bob as a fellow lifeguard at RM5 where we had more fun than we should have. He was full of enthusiasm, humor and a great sense of joy. Long after Bob left the beach, Bob Mooney stories did and still do enter into conversation; such a force was he.
Our hearts ache for MaryJane and the extended clan. Anyone who knew Bob understands what a huge loss this is.
Bob left us too soon but he left the world a better place for simply having been in it.
Our...

Becky and I have enjoyed a close friendship with Brian and Mary Jane for 17 years. We were next door neighbors in Mount Pleasant following Brian's retirement. I spent many memorable hours with Brian boating, fishing, enjoying friends, and conducting political discussions at Dunleavys Pub. During the "Pub Sessions" we solved many of the worlds problems, as well as those of a number of Pub regulars.

Over the years we watched his courageous fight with Scleroderma. We stood in awe as...

Uncle Brian was someone you met once and never forgot. I remember summers at Robert Moses Beach and cook outs in your back yard. Trips to St Barth's. You lived life to the fullest and fought a hard fight. While not always seeing eye to eye, I have some of the best memories of the times I spent with you and your family. Love, Jenn

Brian, you will be missed on our annual visits to St Barts, your memory will linger on as we pass the days walking "The Hill" to the bread shop, collecting sea glass, relaxing on the beach at Flamands, no you will not be forgotten but missed
