Met Bob when he was a year or two into his business career - 1st with the Brite Spot in Chenango Bridge, then the sporting goods shop in Hillcrest. I was just out of high school (15 years his junior) and thought he was pretty smart and pretty funny, too. I moved out of NY in '79 but never forgot him. Dear Caroline, our deepest condolences. I remember Bob taking me in the Green Vega station wagon to all the Broome Dusters home games. He even set me up with the Cape Codders when they were in town as their "stick associate".(What a thrill to be on the Arena ice!)
