Not sure what to say?

Katie, somehow I just heard about "Daddy Robert". Mom and I were talking about both of you a few days ago, and I decided to google you and found the obit. I am so saddened for your loss. I so wish I could have seen him again. I've been trying to talk a lot to mom about the past as her memory is not good anymore, but she remembers you and Robert well. I would give anything for mom to be able to see you. She is in a nursing home in Lexington, SC where we live, and it breaks my heart every...

Robert had true grit; absolute integrity in public service. I was privileged to assist him in his 1974 Senate Democratic primary campaign to replace the retiring Sen.Sam Ervin.

A true statesman. NC shall never forget his leadership, devotion, and public service to its citizens.

He was the greatest statesman of our time and possibly of all time. A true humanitarian. He had the purest heart. He treated kings and vagabonds with the same respect and dignity. It was an honor to know you.Rest in peace.

Sen.Morgan, thank you and your family for your dedication to the great state of N.C.I send my sympathy to your family.-Reggie Pittman

Margaret & Mary, I know your heart grieves and yet I know you have comfort in your memories and in your dad's enduring love for you. Our prayers are with you. Love, Karen Johnson & Elvin Johnson

My thoughts and prayers go out to the family. Mr. Morgan was a wonderful man who related with people in all walks of life. He will be missed.
