Loving husband, father, grandfather and friend, unexpectedly passed away Sunday, October 25, 2015; age 78 years. Robert was born on July 28, 1937 in L?Anse Village, MI to the late Edward and Edna Morin. He was married for 57 years to not only the love of his life, but his best friend Joan Schluckebier on October 4, 1958 at Faith Lutheran Church in Bridgeport, she survives him. Robert was a machinist builder, retired from Brettragger Manufacturing Co. He was a member of Faith Lutheran Church in Bridgeport. Robert loved golfing, bowling, fishing, turkey hunting, and watching his children and grandchildren play sports.



Surviving besides his wife Joan are; 3 daughters, Kathy Morin of Frankenmuth, MI, Karen (Scott) Stine of Saginaw, MI, Julie (Barron) Brousseau of Freeland, MI; grandchildren, Kristi (Aaron) Sawatzki, Ashlee (Marshall) Mannion, Shelby Stine, Dillon Brousseau, Haley Stine, Hunter Brousseau, and Danielle (Jeff) Beyerlein; great grandchild Drew Sawatzki; 2 special little friends, Bella and Beau Beyerlein; twin sister, Roberta (Ted) Roby of Marcellus, MI; sister, Carol Sylvester of Hillman, MI.



Robert was preceded in death by; a brother, Joseph; sister, Joyce; father and mother-in-law, Hank (Esther) Schluckebier; and special brother-in-law Gary Schluckebier.



Funeral services will take place on Friday, October 30, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at Faith Lutheran Church, 4241 Williamson Rd., Bridgeport, MI. Rev. William Hessler will officiate with burial in Pinegrove Cemetery. Robert?s family will receive visitors at Cederberg Funeral Home of Frankenmuth, 590 N. Franklin St. on Thursday from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and on Friday at the church from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service. Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorials to Faith Lutheran Church or the American Cancer Society.
