Miss you Bob

Once I've lost my thumb, but I haven't lost Bob's influence. It's still living on in me. As proof of it, my son studies art at an art school, and aims to become a sculptor. Thank you for encountering, teaching and listening to me.

When I chose the art program at UNR it was because I sensed humanity there. I could feel it: real love in that department. Later, I realized that it emanated from Bob. He was the heart of that place and he loved it there! It was that love which infused everything he touched. It's why he was such an excellent teacher. His love made me a better artist. We lost a true master and a very fine human being with his passing.

Bob was one of the best art teachers and mentors that I ever had. He was kind and patient, gentle and understanding. His critiques were inspiring. I was never again afraid to stretch myself as an artist. Thank you.

Bob you lifted me from my fear of watercolors and I have been forever grateful. You will make heaven a more colorful place.
