Robert Morrow

I just searched for Rob online after seeing childhood photos of us and saw this. My condolences to his family. We were neighbors in the mid-60s when the Morrows moved to Redondo Beach. Rob was in 6th grade and was the leader of our neighborhood of kids. A leader even then! He and his dad made skateboards for my sister and me, our first! Our parents were good friends and had so much fun together. I´m so glad that he had such a happy life! Linda McKie Buckingham

I worked for NOAA, and Rob was my first mentor when I joined the Hawaiian monk seal project in 1981. He was leading a 'headstart' program for seal pups at Kure Atoll in the remote Northwestern Hawaiian Islands. I joined him for what was supposed to be a ~1 week orientation, which turned into a full month due to several snafus.
