He was a wonderful man. As a student at Palm Beach Je. College in the 1970's early 80's, he was always open to talk to me.

Aug 30, 1928 – Apr 30, 2021 (Age 92)
Robert C. Moss of Boynton Beach, FL passed away peacefully on April 30, 2021 at the age of 92. Bob was preceded in death by his bride of 65 years, Patricia and his youngest daughter, Lynne. He is survived by his eldest daughter Sandra Maiorana (Nicholas), grandson Joseph Maiorana (Alyson), granddaughter Alison Deauville (Ryan) and great grandchildren, Zoe Alexandra, Lili Lynne and Ryan Patrick.
Bob was born on August 30, 1928 in Andover, Massachusetts to Irving and Lillian Moss and was their only son. He was a proud veteran of the United States Army and received his teaching degree from George Washington University. After proposing on the streets of Pennsylvania Avenue during Truman’s inauguration, Bob married Pat on November 16, 1949.
When a friend from the Army mentioned the lovely town of Delray Beach, FL to Bob, he and Pat moved there. They soon started their family and met many of their lifelong friends. Bob became a teacher at Conniston Middle School and later the Dean of Students at Palm Beach Junior College, now Palm Beach State College. He was an active member of The First Presbyterian Church of Delray Beach for over 65 years.
Bob and Pat traveled all over the world together, often bringing their family to experience with them. In his spare time you could find him watching golf, cheering on the Dolphins and Gators, enjoying a vodka martini, patrolling the neighborhood from his front porch, and most importantly, spending time with his family. He was so proud to have met all three of his great grandchildren. Bob was a kind and gentle soul who brought a smile to everyone.
Our sweet Dad and Papa will be forever missed. Until we meet again, Pop. We love you!
A private ceremony for the family will be held at the First Presbyterian Church of Delray Beach.
In lieu of flowers, donations to The First Presbyterian Church of Delray Beach may be made in Bob’s memory. Click here to visit the First Presbyterian Church of Delray Beach website.

Mr. Moss was a wonderful man. He helped me when I was a student at Palm Beach Jr. College in the late 1970's. Always a kind and encouraging thing to say to me.

Every man's life ends the same way. It is only the details of how he lived and how he died that distinguish one man from another. EH.
Pop you were simply the best. A phenomenal human being, father, grandfather, great grandfather, friend, and so much more to so many people. You were also the most caring and nicest person I've ever known in my life. I was lucky to have you as my grandfather. I'm so glad Zoe, Lili, and Rocky got to meet you! Thank you for everything! I will miss and...
