Send FlowersFuneral services for Robert Mowery will be held Thursday, June 26, 2008, at 10:30 a.m at Emmaus Lutheran Church in Kennard, Neb. Burial will be in the Kennard Cemetery. Visitation will begin 12:00 p.m., noon, Wednesday with the family present from 6:00-8:00 p.m.
Robert L. Mowery passed away, June 22, 2008 at his home in Kennard. He was born to William and Nora (Fox) Mowery of Council Bluffs, Iowa, on July 20, 1944. He served in the Army from 1968 to 1973 doing duty in the Vietnam War. He owned a trucking company, Mowery Trucking. On April 8, 2005, he married Mary Reeh in Kennard.
He was preceded in death by his father.
Survivors include his wife, Mary; children, Sharon Morgan, Sandy and Kent Long, Keith Reeh, Colista and Mike Martin, Duane Reeh, Josh Reeh, Mindy Mowery and Sherry Fricke; 13 grandchildren; mother, Nora; brothers, Dave, Steve, Tim, Bill and Tom; sisters, Anita, Peggy, LaNora and Gaye.
