Remembering the lovely Bob Myers today. With love to his beloved husband Howard.

Remembering Bob, and Bob and Howard, and Bob and Howard and Rupert. With so much love.

Dear Howard, I'm just learning the terrible news of Bob's sudden passing. He was such a sweet man and he made you so happy which always made me happy. May he rest in peace and may you always bask in the warmth of his memory. With love. Bill

Dear Howard, Jerry and I are so sorry to read the news about Bob. We have thought of you two often. I do remember taking Bob to the needlepoint store in LaHoya, when we did PARAMOUR with you! What a lovely time. We send our heartfelt condolences. Much love to you.

Bob and Howard's extraordinary love and devotion should be celebrated. Their secret was mutual respect, common interests/talents, and a shared humanity. In addition to being kind and attentive, Bob possessed a keen sense of humor, pragmatism, and impeccable taste.

Howard...Cathy, Jeremy, and I send our heartfelt condolences to you and Bob's family. We hope the many memories you and Bob shared offer comfort during this difficult time.

Love,
Doug

Love you Bob. My heart is with Howard and Rupert. Journey On in peace.

Dear Howard, I was so sorry to read Bob’s obituary in the Times. I think of you often and my heart aches for your loss.

We were blessed to first meet Bob and Howard in July 2013 sailing from London to New York on board QM2. Our tables were next to each other in the Britannia Club. I remember they mentioned they would be playing trivia as often as they could and that they weren't being rude but needed to get to trivia on time. Three years ago we got a chance to see them both again in Fort Lauderdale. They had there brand new puppy.
Bob and I shared the joy of needlepoint and would send pictures to...

I knew Bob enough to know that he was a lovely man and a loving husband to my dear friend and collaborator, Howard Marren. But not until he died, and I heard Howard talk about him, and them, and I read the lyrics Bob wrote for Howard’s music, did I know what a love story they wrote together. Even as my heart breaks for them, I am certain that the story continues on another page.
