Not sure what to say?

Dear Sara, As I was enjoying pasta with clam sauce tonight a vision of you and Robbie popped into my head. Firstly, because his was a lot better than mine and then I remembered him, Robbie, his wonderful generosity of spirit, his larger-than-life approach to everything. It´s many years later and I´m sad to find you widowed and sad to find him gone. I am very sorry. Sending you much love, Tricia Collins

I just found out about Robert's passing. I went to P.S. 66 with him in Buffalo (he was always "Robbie" back then). Hadn't been in touch with him since high school but I do remember, Robert was truely a really nice guy.

Sara, I'm sorry but I don't understand why I can't send you my answer to your message. My email address is
[email protected]

Hugs and kisses
Silvia

I had the pleasure of working with Robert for over 5 years. He was a true joy to work with. He was always willing to provide advice and was always trying to figure out what I was bringing to lunch on a given day He will be missed

Rob-2012

Hi Sara, this is Silvia, from Italy. I've learned of Rob at this very moment, when I was looking back for a while at past years. I'm so sorry, and it's difficult to say something in a language that it's not my own. I was your guest in 1991, thanks to Margaret Richardson. I had the most wonderful time with you both. I don't know if you remember me, but in these years I often thought of you and those days in your home. Hope you are well, now, and thank you for the little piece of your hearts...

Sara, I don't know if you remember me, but I was there at hallwalls and media study when Robbie and you fell in love. I accidentally stumbled on this sad news. Robbie and you always exuded the light of love. Robbie embodied warmth, dedication, curiosity, intelligence and most of all, fun. Love and peace to you over your loss. -Rob

Dear Sara, Rob was such a special and lovely person--generous, courageous, spirited, among many others... I am very sad to see him go and that you had to lose your partner and best friend. I always admired how much Rob loved and supported you (and your work). And of course, the way you returned the same.

I remember how Rob could engage in anything, especially conversations which could spiral into so many diverse topics and Rob would always have something interesting to offer. I...

When I think about Robbie, I crack a huge smile and think about him BREAK DANCING at a completely out of control party Jen and I had many years ago when we lived in Atlanta. It was probably the most wild party we ever had - people were smashing beer bottles in our apartment! And Robbie was in rare form that night (we all were) but when he started break dancing - and I mean REAL break dancing on the floor and all that, we knew we had crossed some threshold. It was incredible and I'm actually...
