Not sure what to say?

A great man and teacher. I can safely say I learned more from Bob than anyone else at E&Y as to both client relations and the very important technical aspects of our profession. God bless Bob's family. Charlie Reynolds

It is hard to believe that it has been five years since Bob´s passing. One week ago I had a dream about Bob and myself at an Ernst & Young meeting. This was a very personal and real experience as we actually visiting pleasantly with each other for sometime. The next morning I checked my emails and found This message from legacy.com. This truly is a Godwink. What a blessing to be able to reread today the many messages and condolences that were posted by his many friends five years ago.

What a joy to re-read Bobs obituary today. He truly was a marvelous inspiration to all of us who were fortunate enough to know and work with him. A wonderful friend and great mentor to me. He will always be remembered by me with great fondness.

To Mr Neary's family: I had the interesting position of sitting across the hall from Bob when I first joined the firm in 1996 and he was retired but still coming into the office. I was very impressed by his dedication and the fact that he wasn't "phoning it in," he was still showing up every day. What great character. He was still willing to help those of us who were just learning the ropes. Very fond memories of my start with the firm! I hope you find comfort in all the ways he affected so...

Janet, it was my great pleasure to get to know you both well in those early days of EY's nternational mergers when I was based in New York between 1979 and 1982.
Bob was a very strong influence in my daily life then and in my career with the firm as we sought to create a truly international organisation. He was a very strong mentor for us non Americans and his dry sense of humour and strong wit were always to the fore. He was an outstanding leader and advocate of doing the right thing...

My first memory of Bob was in 1985 when I interviewed with him for a position in the National Office. I really enjoyed working with him. Our paths crossed again a few years back at a EY Board Governance Forum and he was so loving and caring. And he hadn't changed a bit in all those years. Still funny and full of surprises. He was a joy to be around. He will be greatly missed by all. He was one of the pillars of the firm in all its various forms (E&E, E&W, and EY)!!

My prayers to Bob's...
