Good memories of a very nice person !

Bob Neighbor was indeed a rare combination of compassion and competence. His visit to our home truly felt "neighborly." He was genuinely interested in our work, our lives, our individual needs. And we loved the gift of the calendar! We were privileged to know him.

Bob was our go to" insurance man. My parents knew him from the 1950's and Bob had helped me for over 40 years. Always finding the humor in most situations, it was always a joy to talk with him over the phone or in person. It was evident that he loved his life and profession.
My prayers and condolences to Bob's family for losing a dad and husband.

Some of my fondest memories of childhood include time spent at Elk Lake with Uncle Nick and my family. His laughter echoes in my mind as it did when it reverberated over the lake. He, my father and my Uncle regaled each other with stories and I developed a love for the outdoors. It was in Uncle Nick's presence that I recall my own father's very few smiles. A lifetime of friendship, joy, and love. Well done, Bob Neighbor! Your catch was plentiful.

How many fond memories remain as I recall stories from the adventures of "Nick", Dick Jones and good friends. I,too, will miss him, his friendly laugh and charming personality!

Bob was so special to so many. Bob was such an asset to our company & (our family). He was always making sure we were taken care of. His clients were his pride as he was to us.
For more than 30+ years we had the honor of joining Bob and his great friends on a annual fishing trip to the Deschutes Club. For all of us it was like the highlight of the year. Fishing til dark, watching Bob prepare an unbelievable meal and having dinner at midnight it was the...
