Robert Neil

Robert B. Neil Robert B. Neil, 87, of Waynesboro, went to be with his Lord on Monday, June 24, 2013. He was born on December 31, 1925, in Augusta County, to the late Lucian Homer Neil and the late Nora Blanche Devericks Neil. He was retired from the Federal Government and a member of Calvary United Methodist Church. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Michael Lynn Neil; five sisters; and three brothers. He is survived by his beloved wife of 62 years, Delphia Neil; a son, Bob Neil and his wife, Martha, of Roanoke; two grandchildren, Amber Misenheimer and her husband, Shawn, of Kansas City, Missouri, and Rob Neil and his wife, Alison, of Charlottesville; a sister, Sallie Hoffman; and several nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held 12 p.m. Friday, June 28, 2013, at Calvary United Methodist Church, 2179 Stuarts Draft Hwy., Stuarts Draft, VA 24477, conducted by Pastor Doug Paysour and Pastor Sarah Locke. The family will receive friends at a reception at the church following the memorial service.
