Not sure what to say?

I was saddened when I just saw that Bob had passed away last summer. Bob and I were in the same class at Notre Dame Law School, and worked closely together while we were both on the Notre Dame Law Review Board. He had a great legal mind, and was just a great all-around person. I will always cherish our long heart-to-heart conversations about the Rule of Law and what it means to pursue a quality legal career. Bob was all of that, and more. Bob was the most genuine and kindest member of the legal community. A gentleman who treated people with dignity. A very pleasant person with a good sense of humor. We are all better for his presence.

The Grove street, lakeside memories and the inability to get ahold of anyone on the Neirynck landline during dinner as the phone was off the hook are forever in our hearts and getting Mr Neirynck to smile was always a huge win for us Secord´s! . We are so incredibly sorry for this tremendous loss.

My sincere sympathy to Bob's wife and family. He was a great guy, a great attorney and a great family man. I always enjoyed having contact with him either working for him, or just seeing him around town. He could really be funny and told some good stories. Heavan's a better place with him in it. May he rest forever in peace.

Without missing a beat he said "Costigan, Wollrab and Neirynck"....I think about that every year when I put out my nativity set. He was a...

I was privileged to work with Bob for almost 40 years as his legal assistant! He made me a better assistant as we worked together! Gone but never forgotten
