Nelson, Robert S., Passed away, Sunday, December 2, 2012. Beloved husband of Ruth H. Spence Nelson (nee Decker) and the late Shirley P. Nelson (nee Gillett). Father of Robert M. (Christine) and William C. (Linda) Nelson. Step-father of Carol (David) McLerran, Becky (Jim) Vaughn and David (Suzie) Spence. Grandfather of Robert G., Kristen, Caroline Carly Nelson, Jeffrey and Laura McLerran, Taylor and Whitney Vaughn and Logan, Tierney, Paige and Keeley Spence. Robert had a long and distinguished career with Monsanto/ Solutia. Services: A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, January 19, 1:30 p.m. at Kirkwood United Methodist Church, 201 West Adams, Kirkwood, 63122.
