Not sure what to say?

I worked with Bob at Kennecott and also ran into those cuties Bob & Jeri at Smith's in West Jordan a couple times after he retired. What a loss it is to lose beautiful friends, souls and mentors like Bob but at least I got to meet you, watch you dump water out of the back of a haul truck 'cuz the water trucks were down how we all enjoyed you my crack-up of a friend. RIP Bob!! Love Paula

I worked with Bob for many years at the mine. He was a gentle and good spirit. He always had a smile to share and something positive to say or add. I was a young and difficult to get to know and appreciate, Bob never let that get in the way of having a friendship with me. He truly cared about others, and was always willing to help anyone out. It was difficult not to appreciate and like Bob, he was one of those guys everyone like. I'm humbled and blessed that he counted me as a friend. I hope...

My heart is broken at the passing of Bob. What a sweet man, now he watches his sweet wife and family from the other side of the veil. So close he is but a breath away! I miss seeing your amazing family. Please contact me and we should try to get together
All my Love, kathie terry and family

The world we live in has lost an amazing man. We enjoyed being around Bob and feel a big loss. We enjoyed his amazing card tricks. We are grateful for his cheerful personality and good nature.

I am very sorry for the loss of such a good man as Bob Nelson. He was a young men leader to my best buddy and I and others of our friends. Bob was full of energy. He filled his calling as a labor of love and he did love us. We were welcomed in to his family's home as part of the family. Bob and "Mom" Nelson and their daughters treated Jeff and I like we belonged in their home. They bought a good looking Ford Bronco, we thought it was the coolest, then he even let us drive it! During the...

So sorry to hear about Bobs passing, he was a great friend and person!

Bob and Jerry were special friends to us and especially to our oldest son Jeff. Pretty please accept our friendship and love and consolation for your loss

Bob might have donated his body to science, but he donated his life to his family, his friends and his faith. I was lucky enough to meet Bob about 45 years ago. He became a brother to me. We shared ping-pong, tennis, laughs and tears - but mostly laughs. He always had a way of cheering you up no matter how bad he was feeling. He was deeply in love with Jeri and deeply proud of his girls and grand children. he wasn't famous, wasn't a sports star, didn't discover a miracle drug, but he was...

Jeri and family. I am so sorry about the loss of Bob. I feel bad that we lost connection back many years ago but I have great memories of Bob and Jerry as kids. My Dad was Bob's first cousin and I was raised by my Grandmother who was Bob and Jerry's Fathers Sister. As kids my brother Larry and I would visit at their home and had great times playing in the fields and rough housing in the bedrooms while the adults would visit. Bob always had a great sense of humor and I will always have a place...
