Not sure what to say?

I don´t know if you all are. Aware that my husband, Al Clark, passed away on February 17, 2024. He is the son of your aunt Rosanna Golda Clark. He was predeceased by his sister, Judy, brother Phil. Along with his father and mother. And a granddaughter, Kylie, who was 24. We always admired Uncle Bob and Aunt Marianne. Sending love your way, Betty Clark

Robert Newman was a Chief for the Village so long that most people never knew another. I was honored to serve with him until he retired. I have never met a man that I admired more than him.
The Chief was more than a supervisor, he taught me to be all that I could be. When he had to admonish anyone he did it in such a way that you admired him even more. I loved the man and am so sorry for the family. May God bless him and his family.

I just read of The Chief's passing. He believed in me enough to hire me and although I was only 20 years old at the time of my swearing in he saw qualities in me that I didn't see in myself. He helped make me the police officer I became to which I am forever grateful. May you rest in peace Chief. My condolences to his family. I shall never forget you Chief.

To the Newman my sympathy; Bob will be remembered as a dedicated father, Chief of Police and community leader. Chief Newman did his best for the community; for the men and woman of the NSPD. He was a leader among local town & village Chief's in the 70's, taking a leadership roll for improved policing methods and the technology much of it involved. I as did many enjoyed working with a professional. RIP Bob Newman.

My thoughts and prayers to the Chief's family. He was a good and decent man who influenced my law enforcement career. Chief Newman had faith and confidence in my abilities and gave me plenty of opportunities to learn and advance for which I will be forever grateful. One last salute for the initial greeting of the day Chief. RIP and may God Bless.

Sgt. Doug Robertson NSPD 1987-1997

Very sorry to hear about the Chief. My dad was a police officer under him he was a great guy and will be missed God bless you and your family.

Chief Newman owned sweetheart corners ! He was there faithfully every Saturday and was an ICON in the Village. No skeletons in his closet. He was and honest and decent man who worked hard as a law enforcement officer. I tip my hat to him ! God's peace.

To the family of Chief Newman, a special friend to both my parents.. Skaneateles Police Chief George Davis, and wife Jean, and to myself and my husband.. Skaneateles Police Jack McNeil and Carol.. will cherish the stories he told me of my dad, your dad, and auburn police chief costello at the Police Chier Conferences.. so many years ago.. RIP Chief

My condolences to the Newman family.
