Robert Newman Obituary
WEST PEORIA - Robert "Bobby" K. Newman Sr., age 56, of West Peoria passed away at home Saturday, January 13, 2018, after a long battle with cancer.
He was born on May 12, 1961, to James V. Newman and Judith K. (Pribble) Newman in Chicago, IL.
Surviving are his mother; one brother, James Newman; two sisters, Brenda (Frank) Behm and Kathy Barriga; four sons, Joe (Kyra), Chris (Kristina), Luke (Nikki) and Robert Newman Jr.; and one daughter, Katie Newman. He is also survived by many grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his father and one sister, Debra Kent.
Bobby was a member of Roofers Local 69 for over 25 years and a roofer for almost 40 years. He was known for being one of the hardest workers there was. He retired from Massey Roofing.
Cremation rites will be accorded and there will be no services at this time. A celebration of life will be held at a later date for family and friends.
