I'm a Correctional Officer at Lake County Jail, in Crown Point, IN where Mr. Nichols was a Baliff in the Courts joining the Jail there. Mr. Nichols would come to the Jail to pick up inmates from the Jail to escort them over to the building next door for Court. Mr. Nichols was always dressed very sharp, was very pleasant to everyone, and always met you with a big smile. You can feel he genuinely cared about people. He was a Good Man. He will be missed by many. Condolences to his Family.

I cared for me Nichols at Springmill I would go
Into his room at night and keep him company and watch the basketball games with him I send my deepest condolences he will be missed
