Mr. Preston was a gentleman's gentleman!
After I moved to Hickory, NC in 1964, he often made trips to Raleigh. On each trip he made Hickory his pit stop saying he was just stopping to check on me. Growing up with Penny and Jim gave me rights to be in Mr. P's "adopted family" as he once told me.
